What actually happens in hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is not what you have seen on stage. Nobody loses control. Nobody clucks like a chicken. It is simply a deeply relaxed, focused state - like the feeling just before you drift off to sleep - where your conscious mind quiets down and your subconscious becomes open and available.
In that state, we can access the beliefs that have been quietly running your life. The ones that say you are not enough, that change is dangerous, that you do not belong. We find where those beliefs began - often in a moment far earlier than you might expect - and we rewrite them. Gently, specifically and permanently.
How is this different from regular talking therapy?
Talking therapy works with the conscious mind. You understand your patterns, you explore your past, you develop insight. That is genuinely valuable. But insight alone does not always create change - because the beliefs driving your behaviour live deeper than conscious understanding can reach.
Hypnotherapy works at the level where the beliefs actually live. You are not just talking about the pattern. You are changing the root of it. That is why clients often experience a shift in a single session that years of talking had not moved.

What is Hypnotic Mentoring?
Hypnotic Mentoring is my own approach - a combination of hypnotherapy and personal mentoring. It is for women who are navigating an ongoing transition and want more than a single session. We work together regularly, using hypnosis when it serves and honest conversation always. Think of it as having a guide beside you as you become who you are growing into.
What is RTT and why is it different?
RTT = Rapid Transformational Therapy was created by Marisa Peer and combines hypnosis with elements of cognitive behavioural therapy, neuro-linguistic programming, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness for maximum impact. It uses hypnosis as its foundation, so yes - every RTT session includes hypnosis.
What makes RTT exceptional is the speed and depth of what it reaches. Rather than exploring your past week or your current feelings, RTT goes to the root - often a childhood experience you may not even consciously remember - where a limiting belief was formed. We locate it, understand it and then rewrite it fot a positive belief in the same session. Clients regularly describe it as the most transformative thing they have ever done.

Will I lose control during hypnosis?
No - and this is the most common fear. Hypnosis is not what you have seen on stage. You remain completely aware and in control throughout the entire session. You cannot be made to do or say anything you do not want to. It feels more like a deeply relaxed, focused daydream than anything else. We talk throughout the session.
What does it feel like?
Most people describe hypnosis as deeply relaxing - like being in a daydream or guided meditation. You may feel more connected to yourself, calm, and clear-headed afterward. You have full awareness and we talk a lot while you are hypnotised.
Can everyone be hypnotised?
Almost everyone can enter a hypnotic state as it is a natural condition your mind moves in and out of every day, like the feeling just before sleep. The only people who cannot be hypnotised are those who actively choose not to relax. Willingness is the only requirement.
Will I remember the session?
Yes. You’ll remember most or all of the session. Hypnotherapy isn't sleep - it's a focused, relaxed state where your mind is open and engaged. You are aware of and in control of your words and actions during hypnotherapy.

Everyone is different. Some clients solve even more than one problem in just one session, while others benefit from a few more. We’ll talk about the best plan for you. RTT is designed to create change in a single session. Most clients notice a significant shift after just one session, followed by 21 days of listening to their personalised audio recording. For deeper or more layered issues, more session may be beneficial but this is never assumed. We work at your pace.
What is the difference between hypnosis and RTT?
Hypnosis is the state - the deeply relaxed condition where your subconscious becomes open. RTT is the method that uses hypnosis as its foundation, combining it with other therapeutic approaches to go to the root of a belief and rewrite it. Every RTT session includes hypnosis.
Can sessions be done online?
Yes, all sessions are conducted online via video call. Hypnotherapy works just as effectively online as in person. All you need is a quiet, comfortable space where you will not be disturbed, a stable internet connection and a pair of headphones if possible. Clients report even more powerful results from the comfort of their home.
Is hypnotherapy safe?
Yes. Hypnotherapy is a well-established, evidence-based therapeutic approach. As a certified RTT and Cl.Hyp qualified hypnotherapist, I work within a clear professional and ethical framework. Your safety and comfort are the foundation of every session. However, hypnosis is not suitable for people suffering with epilepsy, mental illness or specific medication. If unsure, consult suitability with your doctor. Other than that, hypnotherapy is safe powerful way to work with your subconscious mind. You are in control the entire time and cannot be made to do anything against your will.
